At Delights, we’re committed to delivering your favourite sweets quickly, safely, and at the best prices. This Shipping Policy outlines our delivery methods, timeframes, and related terms.
1. Order Processing

  • All orders are processed within 1 business days after payment confirmation.

  • Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

  • You will receive an order confirmation email and a tracking number (where applicable) once your order is dispatched.

2. Delivery Areas

  • We currently deliver nationwide within South Africa.

  • Deliveries are made to street addresses only — no P.O. Boxes.

3. Delivery Timeframes

  • National Deliveries (Major Cities): Estimated 2–4 business days.

  • Outlying/Rural Areas: Estimated 3–7 business days.

Please note: Delivery times may vary due to courier delays, public holidays, or high-volume periods.
4. Delivery Fees

  • Delivery fees are calculated at checkout based on your location and order weight.

  • Free delivery may be offered for promotions or on orders over a specified amount — see our website for current offers.

5. Handling and Packaging

  • All sweets are packed with care to ensure they arrive fresh and in perfect condition.

  • During hot weather, we may use special packaging to prevent melting, which could slightly extend delivery times.

6. Delivery Issues

  • If your order is delayed, damaged, or missing, please contact our Customer Care team within 24 hours of delivery.

  • For damaged items, please include photos to help us resolve the matter quickly.

7. Incorrect Addresses

  • Please double-check your delivery address before confirming your order.

  • Delights is not responsible for orders delayed or lost due to incorrect or incomplete addresses.

8. Public Holidays

  • Deliveries will not be made on public holidays, and orders placed during these periods will be processed on the next working day.
